Application Instructions

Application

Each candidate must submit an application for John W. Fisher Scholarship by February 15, 2022 (or May 15, 2022 for South American students). Applications must be fully complete and include GPA, SAT, and/or ACT scores (SAT and ACT scores are only applicable to US applicants), resume section, and essay. Academic Record

Each candidate must submit an academic record (transcript) from their high school or equivalent educational institution. If a candidate is currently or previously enrolled they must also submit their academic record from their college or university. Transcripts must be emailed (preferred) or mailed directly from the institution and must be received by February 15, 2022 (or May 15, 2022 for South American students). Any postmarked after that date will not be considered. Mailing address for Transcripts is:

Applicants are responsible for the timely submittal of information from their school(s).

Letter of Recommendation

Students need to request one letter of recommendation to support their application. This letter should be from a mentor, teacher, counselor, or other school official and speak to the student’s academic excellence, leadership ability, community work and activities, and other qualifications. The recommender must also complete and include with their letter, the Official Recommendation From. This can be downloaded below and should be emailed with the recommendation letter.

These letters, including the Official Recommendation Form, must be emailed to tiffany.anderson@insightstrategyconsulting.com on or before February 15, 2022 (or May 15, 2022 for South American students). Letters received after this date will not be considered.

Selection

The selection committee, composed of non-Ball Corporation members, will evaluate the candidates and select the winners. Those selected will be promptly advised by a member of management. All other candidates will be advised of their status and invited to apply the following year. All applicants who submit a complete application will be notified about the scholarship selection in May 2022.

Checklist

In order to be considered eligible for the John W. Fisher Scholarship, all of the following documents must be submitted by February 15, 2022 (or May 15, 2022 for South American students).

• Full application submitted online for English speaking applicants and by email for those needing translated versions.
• Letter of Recommendation and Recommendation Form (emailed from recommender to tiffany.anderson@insightstrategyconsulting.com.)
• Official High School academic record or transcript (Sent directly from the high school by email or mail. We highly suggest you check back to ensure your transcript was emailed or mailed.)
• Official college or university academic record or transcript (if currently or previously enrolled in a college or university)
